Sail and Rudder Markings
Take the guesswork out of how you rig your UFO.
We recommend a few places to mark your boat so you can consistently set up your boat or adjust it to the conditions without guesswork - or carrying a tape measure around each time:
Rudder Adjustment Wheel - mark directions to increase / decrease angle of attack and preferred set point.
Boom Clew End - place a piece of white tape marked with inches / cm from end to use to adjust the outhaul.
Bottom of Mast - place a piece of white tape on mast with inches / cm from bottom to use to adjust the cunningham.
Top of Mast - wrap a piece of white tape three inches down from halyard hoist fitting to mark a lowered mainsail position.
