Rudder and Main Foil Rake
Tracking Rudder Rake
With a sharpie, mark a point in the rudder rake adjustment rod, and mark the hull at max angle of attack, minimum, and mid-point. These reference points are good for a quick adjustment when you are out in the water.
It’s easy to forget which direction to turn the wheel. You can add + / - / < markers to the hull with a sharpie.
Minus decreases angle of attack and reduces lift out of the water. Plus increases angle of attack and lifts the boat out of the water.
Main Foil Rake
Best to leave the main foil pin setting in the middle of the pin block. Control lift through rudder rake.
